Powder Coated rims/wheels - picture

I had my dealer powder coat the rims and I love the look. Some of the sales people were pushing for the yellow spokes with black around the outside but I wanted all yellow all over. I like it and after seeing it on the car, they liked it too. I paid around $1400 for the powder coating, window tinting, and a few other little options. I know it was way too expensive but I didn't want to deal with getting the rims off myself and not knowing the quality/color matching of another powder coater.

Great look on many of these cars to color match the rims this way, IMHO it makes the little rims look like they fit the car better.

The dealer in Louisville quoted me $495 each for powder coating and that was R&R the rims, so your cost is good, considering you got the tint also.

I've seen the black rim/yellow center combo, and I like the solid yellow much better. I don't know where they came up with the two tone, but the rim just gets lost in the tire color and makes the wheel look smaller - and we don't want that.

Those look awesome!

I was thinking about doing something similar, but the only thing keeping me from doing it would be having to keep the same color panels.
