What wheel offset did you end up with, 35mm or 50mm?

Thanks Kane!

You just saved me pulling a hub to see exactly what your photo shows and the obvious bosses... koool..... adapters it is

Who is the unsprung weight worry wart up above and why would you think a pound or less of aluminum adapter makes any significant difference...

The very worst case increase of any unsprung weight is easy to manage with progressive rate springs and shock absorber compression and rebound rates

I am seriously considering 4 corner full adjustable coil over sets and camber adjuster elliptical bolts for the front struts

I also plan 100~125 HP... oh dang there goes the worthless warranty... on the motor and trans only....

The only possible damage the extra weight will do is increase the wear rate of the bearings but then putting anything larger on will do that.

The fact is that the wheel bearings are actually quite cheap and take about 20 minutes to fit all 4. Well worth the time out for beefy looking rims.

I ran adapters on my 450 for years with no problems. As long as you check the bolt torque every few thousand miles you'll be ok. The only thing that put me off was the need to have 3 or 4 tools to remove the wheel and adapter incase you needed to fit a spare standard wheel.

I was afraid the hubs were like that. Very similar to the old vws.
