If you do a Google seach for wheel adaptors you'll find there are places in the US that make adaptors. I doubt that they make adaptors for Smarts, but you may be able to talk them into making some, especially if you can get a few people interested and do a group buy thing. Just a thought.
I you get adaptors you'll have no need for spacers.

How can there be no wheel adapters?

With so many Smart owners changing to 16, 17 and even 18" wheels, how can there be no 3 to 5 lug wheels adapter suppliers? I'm confused.

Custom order details - need advice, please.

If I go to a metal shop and request custom wheel adapters, what are the specifications?

- metal type (stainless steel, billet aluminum, zinc alloy, ?)
- dimensions: circumference, adapter thickness, etc.
- bolt pattern: length and thread pitch
