Tire Rack's site shows diameter of 22.3" and 859 revs/mile for the 155/60/15's and 22.6" and 895 revs/mile for the 175's. It's very close, and on a non ABS/ESC car I wouldn't have hesitated to make the change.
What I wanted to confirm is that in the real world it was close enough not to get the smart's ECU all worked up over the difference. I take it you're not having an issue.
