Taking the plunge

We are going to take the plunge and have our factory wheels powder coated black. My question is can we just remove and reinstall the existing tire pressure sensors or is there more to it?

I powdercoated wheels on my smart. It is easy to remove and install TPMS. It is recommended to replace the washer and the nut, but I reinstalled the old ones and did not have any leaks (almost a year).
Hint: after powdercoating put delicate masking tape on the edge of the rim, so when the tire guy will install the tires, he will not scrape the rim. (Once tire is on the rim you just remove the tape).
