It is a US law that ALL 2008+ vehicle have tpms. People that drive ford explorers are too dumb to check their tires so now we all have to pay for it.


Also the system seems a bit restarted (literally slow). I had a significant blowout via a 1/4 hole in the side wall. I could see dust fly and could immediately tell from road noise/handling that I lost a tire. It was probably around 30 seconds before the light turned on. So it only is really usefull for people that don't bother/ don't comprehend the importance of checking your tires

thisch, have you installed the Tirerack sensors yet? Just wondering if they are "plug-n-play" compatible...

ROFL - it took me until just now to realize what was meant by "restarted." I also had to ask someone what was meant by "short bus" (adjective).
