I've only had them put on last week, there doesn't seem to be any warning lights or odd braking on corners or anything. What symptoms should I be looking for. I haven't driven freeway or highway speeds yet.

195/50's work great all the way around, I've had Kumho ASTs on my car for 5 months now with no problems at all (except when the snow got over 5in deep).
Everything about the cars behavior is much better.
