The only significant advantage to nitrogen is that it will be delivered dry. Many air stations, especially the coin-opderated ones at convenience stores, are not used on a regular basis and condensation builds up in the accumulators. You can get a significant shot of water pumped into your tires. If you really need to use such a pump it is best to sacrifice some change and discharge to the atmosphere first to clear the hose of water. Myself, I take my portable tank to the tire store and have it filled; their compresssors are constantly working and their air is dry.
