Want to "drop" my car but have no idea how to.

Hello dear forum members,

I am the owner of a 2008 451 stock silver.

I love my car but I feel its a bit "tall".

So my question for you guys are:

1. Can I install new springs myself?
1.1 Is it difficult?
1.2 Does it req any special tools?

2. What springs is the best choice for me? I like a comfy ride, not to hard.

3. How low should I go?
I have to add to this one that roads in Norway are not that good so going very low is not an option. I am running stock wheels and tires.

Thanks,
K

How far would you want to lower it so it doesn't feel tall.

This car realy sits upright and is not designed to feel like a sports car. That doesn't mean it can't be driven that way

What are my options?

I have tried to find "before/after" pictures without luck...

You will regret lowering a Smart the first time you hit a serious bump. I wouldn't do it.
