What's Possible? (widest wheels/tires?)

Hi
What's the widest possible wheels that will fit onto the 451 front and rear with offsets if possible?

I remember seeing one which I think had 9" wide wheels on this forum. Can this be taken any further without any arch work?

Many seem to be a max of 6.5" front and 7" rear max, but I'm hoping to go down the custom wheel route and wanted to know how far I can go.

Thanks in advance

Jake

Mine are 7.5 front 9.5 rear. Hope to have a reason to have wwiiiddee slicks on the back in the future. But I think 8.5 would be better if you don't have the need. I haven't looked lately but @ the time I couldn't find a wider tire that had the same outside diameter, to work with the traction control, abs and esp. If you want to see what it looks like check my gallery

Thanks for the reply, yours were the ones I awhile ago! They look great!

Do you know the offsets on the wheels?
Also do they fit under the arches without any work? and do they cause any rubbing?

Your max width will also be affected by how much you decide to lower your car and what size/brand tires you go with.
