Wheel removal - tire pressure sensors

This may be a dumb question, but is there anything we need to know about removing and replacing the wheels because of the tire pressure sensor system? I'm planning on painting the spokes on my wheels black and my calipers and drums red, which would involve removing the wheels. But I've never had a car with the tire pressure sensors? Do I need to do anything differently when I remove or replace the wheels? Thanks.

Just remove the wheel like anyother car and paint away, but clean first. Sensor is attached inside the wheel to the valve stem.

I assume if you wanted the wheels chromed or powder coated the tire pressure sensors would have to come off. Are they reusable?

I've talked to Discount tires and they said the sensors are usable. But taking all four wheels off and put it on jack stands is tricky. Anyone done this already I'd like to know.

Jack up either end put in the jackstands. Jack up with floor jack that can roll
Jack up the other end, put in the jackstands. Ditto with the floor jack....
Remove the wheels. ;)

Thanks for all the quick replies! Sounds like I can do this, even though I don't really get how that tire sensor thing works. By the way, hoping to hear from the dealer this week. Getting discouraged though. Been a long wait. I put my $99 down April 7....pushing a year now. Ordered Nov. 16. My car was said to have shown up here in the states March 8. I could have hitchhiked to whereever it was by now and driven it home. And some folks are picking up orphans in weeks?!? C'mon!
