Wheel & Tire Plan

My dealer gave me a sheet on a wheel and tire plan, which is some kind of insurance, but I have no idea yet what it really covers. the cost goes from 12 months at $195 to 60 months at $345. Has anyone seen this or know what it is? I'm inclined right off the bat to not purchase this, but wanted to know more.

I got suckered into one that will not cover pothole damage. Read before you sign I have never regretted that.

I really think the wheel and tire plan is a WONDEFUL way for the dealer to make extra profit!

The one offered me did not cover a bent wheel if it could still hold air!

If you bend a wheel to the point that it is undrivable at speed but it will still hold air: no soup for you! Pay the man for a new wheel! Some coverage that is.

I did take the plan, (at a deep discount) from the dealer. The contract is with Travel-Gard. I would be happy to share a copy of the plan. Just PM me with your email. I don't know if this is the plan all dealers offer. I have no financial interest yada yada.

Can you cancel the plan and get a refund for the unused portion?
