Yeah alittle more rough. But I'm goimg to put Eibach springs on too. I had a VW Corrado with Newspeed srings an low profile Allisio wheels. And I have an F-250. So I'm used to it. Hate my wifes Buick Enclave. Feels like a big wallowing box. Yes I'm paranoid about damage on wis. bad roads but so far no damage.

I am traveling so can't post any photos, but I put bigger tires on mine and the ride is much softer............but not 17's. I put a new pair of rear rims on with 185/60-15" Michelin tires on all four. THEY FILL THE WHEELWELLS, but don't hit, rub or scrub - yet. They just went on last weekend since getting the rims powder painted (yes I like the OE wheels too). and I only drove about 100 miles to get a feel for them. So far the harsh jolt from tar strips is greatly softened, and here in TN we don't have many pot holes, but I'm sure it would be softer. Can't tell about side wind gusts yet. So bigger tires - yes, bigger rims - not for me.

I just installed a set of Schmidts along with those new Yokohama S tires and the look and ride is simply fantastic. 195/45x16s front and 215/40x16s rear. Fog City Performance set me up with the proper info and product.

I've had my 17s on with Yokohama S-Drives for about a month and mine rides better than stock. I've also lowered it with H&R springs.

I hadn't heard of Yokohama until around a year and a half ago when I was researching for the best new tires for my Taurus SEL. I heard that they made tires for some of the best riding cars in the world, and reviews from people who had them were excellent, so I tried a set. All I can say is that they are the best tires I've ever used, bar none. If they sell Yokohama's for the Smart then I will definitely be buying a set!

OK thanks I'm going to call the Tire Rack and ask them to contact Yokohama regarding this. Hopefully soon they will carry a Yokohama tire that fits. All I see right now is a Continental tire, and that is not in the same ball park
