The market is tiny and no one will bother unless there is a widely available tire size available. Sometimes it's not profitable to import tires in quantities of less than 500-1000 pieces, and the fortwo requires two different sizes.

it doesn't need two different tiresizes - only the original-rims need them...
as i wrote here you should look after rims with an offset about 48/50mm and holes in 5x112 and you can drive them with adapterplates.
there are some chromewheels with this data and you got something that not everybody has... ;)

the only alternative with three holes is the lorinser speedy with chromefinish - but as i've seen the "normal" speedy's are even very expensive in america - how much would the chromed-ones be then?

I found an interesting USA site where the owner is feeling out needs and desires to get a group buy big enough to make it worth while for custom made rims... He is talking in the $600 to $700 range for a full set of 4 rims. Not bad if it can be done. The sample selection is not bad looking

If interested..... google smartlegion, and under "classifieds" find the "group buys and specials" is the thread.

Why the need to look for a 48/50mm offset wheels?Any wheel with an offset of around 35mm up will work.
