90 Day notice

my DDE is 8-6, How long has it taken to get your car from this notice arriving?

Duckhunter,

By most accounts you should expect to pick it up just about 1 month after the early DDE date. Keep checking it, you might see it wander around a bit as it takes into account that it is on the ship, etc. You should be able to get the VIN from the manager of your Smart Center.

Congrats, also got my 90 day notice today. I reserved in May 2007. My earliest DDE date is now 7/6/2008. I think your location is really the biggest factor in how soon your Smart arrives. My dealer here in Houston only got 10 cars in June...

Same for me Brian, just received my 90 day notice when I got home a few minutes ago.. Looks like we'll be driving our Smarts soon!

BTW, was at my dealer last Saturday (Edison, NJ) and, no joke, ther were 23 Smarts on the lot.

My DDE as of today is 7/31/2008 to 10/29/2008.

I received my notice last night as well. I reserved June 20, 2007 and my DDE is Aug 2 - Oct 30. I expect to pick in up sometime in September I guess.
