Hey!! I didn't get any email like that! Guess my dealership has to be completely built to get an email like that. I suspect my car will be one of the first cars delivered though so hopefully they'll give me a few extra freebees just to make a multismart owner happy ( keychains - T-Shirts - Diecast etc. HINT HINT BIRMINGHAM ) . Also have to get the sunscreen fixed on my parents smart though I'd like to drive mine up as it "should" have the custom paint job by then - 50/50 as to which car goes. Probably theirs. My Res #: 1340 - Sep 6, 2007.

Got my 90 day notice today. EDD is still 8/13/08 11/11/08. Reservation #1308. Reserved August 31, 2007. I haven't heard from the dealer yet, but its Friday, so I hope I get it monday.

Update. My Car is due in on September 3rds. Financing complted, and dealer options ordered. Care was shipped on 8/8/8 and due into baltimore on Tomorrow 8/23/08. I love that we can track are VIN numbers on the boat.

Wallenius-Wilhelmsen operates their own fleet, and also books space on other carriers' vessels (e.g. those calling at Long Beach). In the case of shipments on their own vessels, they track the numbers through offloading. In the case of shipments on others' vessels, they can only report the loading date. The other carrier may have the voyage information. In my case, my car was booked on M/V CARIBBEAN EXPRESS, a Japanese "K" Line ship, to Baltimore, and they ("K" Line) did have the voyage information (but no vehicle information).

It appears that the Long Beach cars are trans-shipped to another carrier at Manzanillo, Panama (the only W-W fleet service to L.B. is via Yokohama).

Corrn: I don't know when it changed, but W-W now has a W-W fleet ship (M/V DON CARLOS) scheduled for a Northern Europe-to-USWC run. There is no past history or future listed for other voyages.
