I'm 1229 and am still 6-12 weeks out from delivery. Ordered May 11, 2007 confirmed Jan 2, 2008. I am not impressed on the speed we are receiving our cars in Chicagoland.
mb1arch - Loeber told me a month ago that my car was built and out on the ocean somewhere and to expect delivery July 15. Since then the DDE has moved back almost 2 weeks in it's initial date (now June 26 from June 15). Loeber also says they cannot give me the VIN # until it clears customs. Quite personally I don't even think it has been built yet.
I'm still waiting as well. Reserved June 3, 07 #1249 config'd in Feb. 17, 08, my patience is running thin. DDE is Oct. 08 - Dec. 08. Pleeease..... 1 1/2 year wait is outrageous!!!!! Surely SmartUSA should have known that the demand would be high.. GET A clue car markers!!!! It's really disappointing to know that if you wanted a orphan you can get one within a reasonable timeframe, this is crazy waiting this long.

Cannot imagine waiting 1.5 years for one, then crashing it, then waiting for another 2 yrs.!!
I am a #1306. Ordered 7/30/07 and config. date 2/1/08 got the call on 6/19/08 it is in transit. Delivery in 30 days or less.Picking up @ Smart Center Lake Bluff.Almost 1 year exactly !!! Well worth the wait, I hope !?!
