Do cabrio's take longer to arrive than the Passion?

I have confirmation number 1226. I reserved a black cabrio on May 11, 2007. I have seen people with higher confirmation numbers receive their vehicles, but the all have been Passions. Do the Cabrio's take longer?

I called Smarts 800 number and was told the vehicle had been produced and was on its way to the dealer, but the dealer has no record of it.

Smartville media rep. told me that cars, once scheduled for production, are made in order independently of model, color or option(s).
I.e. a red/black/leather cabriolet can be followed by a blue/black/grey pure, followed by a yellow/silver/red loaded passion, etc...
Once your future car is ready for production, your dealer should be able to see its R11 on smartUSA's site. If your dealer is willing to check it out, and share, is another issue altogether!
That was my understanding during a conversation with the smart media representative.
See this post for R11 details:

kgeissler:I'm also in the dallas area and reserved 12 days after you. My DDE says
Dec.08-Feb09. If you've checked your DDE lately what did it say? Thanks

Just checked it and it says 6/18/2008 to 9/16/2008. Funny thing is, on Monday I checked and it said 6/16/2008 to 9/16/2008, then Tuesday it changed to 6/17/2008 and today it says 6/18/2008.

Mine has only changed once it went up one month.
Tried to ask dealer if they have any info but can't get them to return my call.
I'll wait howerver long it takes but I'm not going to have anything good to
say about the whole process.

I just got back from the dealership in Dallas to see what they could tell me. The pulled up my R11 and it had an ETA of 7/18/08.

We ordered two in April 2007. The number for both cars was 1209. The cabrio was ordered 1 day before the passion. The passion came in 13 months later. The cabrio nearly 1 month after the passion (last Friday). May just be coincidence.
