I just got an email from my dealership. What does this mean? My Vehicle being built?

What date does the DDE indicate delivery, Sounds like you could have a very active dealers who is on top of the whole delivery thing. I received an e-mail from smart indicating within 90 days the dealer would contact me, they did and told me Sept 13th, I have heard nothing else.

Probably scheduled to be built at this point; keep bugging them for the VIN - once you have that it's pretty close. JPaul has the info on production codes but I haven't found it yet.

DDE keeps moving. Day by Day I gain a day it moves a day currently it is 11 days from DDE.

Just checked the DDE on mine and this is what I got (remember mine is due Sept 13th):

8/19/2008 to 11/17/2008

It is important to note that the DDE does not reflect any potential changes in vehicle production, distribution and Reservation Holder cancellations. Any of these factors could change your estimated delivery date. Please continue to check the DDE from time to time as information is updated on a continuous basis.

Mine says 9/2/2008-12/1/2008. Sent a email asking for more information. Status and vin# will say what the reply is when I get it.

I'd say yours is already built, or will be built within the next week or so.

This is what mine has been saying for weeks now. The last time it made any sense it said July- Sept. my # is 2402801239 May 24-07

Anybody have any ideas?

Contacted dealership she said that she dont have a vin# yet and all she really knows is that she is now able to talk with my about my car. She asked me to call so I did. Basic questions financing triple checking my configuration ( I say triple because I have called smartusa about my options also LOL.) Inviting me to go up and take a test drive in the future (when my car gets closer)

I would contact your dealership ASAP and ask them about it maybe the email got blocked by your ISP or email provider.
