I'm not sure if I'm the first or not but Smart Center of Dallas called me today informing me that my Smart is here and is awaiting for me to take her home. Well, if all goes well, I should take her home tomorrow or Thursday. Also, I want to give Smart Center of Dallas a thumbs up. My experience with them has been very good. I did stop by and they were able to allow me into their garage to look at my car. Got to seat in it and play with some of the buttons. Can't wait to take it home.

Happy for you. There is a couple stings here for you to tell us how you feel about the car and dealer fees ect. Please send us some info when you have time. Thanks in advance. There are a lot of us waiting for ours.

Yeah, I saw the truck at Parkplace today. It was 12:30pm

Sweet! looks like mine was the last one on either the top or the bottom. They have 2 yellow ones in the garage. Holy cow, they have lots of red ones.

smartCenter Dallas called. Mine arrived today as well. Silver on silver with red interior. Not sure whether I will keep it or give it to Mom (79).

For the novice here (I reserved mine a month ago), how long did it take for the whole process (Reservation - First Call/Order - Last Call - Shipping). I am intrigued as I am in need of a smaller car but am not planing on waiting a year! Thanks for the input.

It took me about 7 months from reservation to configuration. I configured in December and was told I would get mine in the second half of 08.

you should expect a year from start to finish.
