Getting frustrated rant

Well it has been around 15 months and I have not heard one word from smart center Albuquerque. I have received some responses to email requests for info. They told me VIN number and nothing else. My DDE has moved up to 8/30 so my car should be in very shortly. They told me it should be in prior to the end date of the DDE. I think they should be able to provide a better answer than that.

RANT over now I feel better.

I feel sorry for you in the Dallas area as 15 months is short for you.

If you haven't already done so, make sure the smart email address is not being filtered out as spam. I nearly lost my confirmation email that way.

With the VIN you can track where the car is, up to the USA, I'm not aware of how to track it once on US soil, perhaps others do.

I get the email from SMARTUSA and the dealer fine if they are sent. As far as tracking my understanding is it can only be tracked to one US port and not the others. The VIN that I put in for tracking does not come back with any information available. I am just hoping that the vehicle will arrive at the dealer around 30 days from the start of the DDE as it seems most are.

I am frustrated that I haven't seen any 2009's yet! It's already September and where the heck are they? Don't they realize that in 15 short months it's going to be 2010? What is going on at Smart headquarters? Does anyone at Smart ever look at a calendar? I think they should just skip the 2009's and start making the 2010's!

According to various sources from Smartville, the production of 09's is not going to start until this coming week, and it'll take 4-6 weeks to reach us stateside... Furthermore, Hambach is basically working with the calendar year, not a fictitious Fall new model introduction that have over here.
