Got My Smart!

Picked her up thursday, July17. The louisville smart center, kentucky, was
so courteous and accomodating. I've been in contact with sale rep, Travis,
numerous times, and he was just excited as I was to get her.They really do a great job there. I was the 160th smart sold through their dealership.
My wife drove it to her work today, being I'm off today. I stood in the driveway and watched it, it's beautiful. Sales rep did the walk thru of the car with me, I said I knew everything about the car, being an avid reader of
SCOA forums. But I know now there is some things I didn't know. Like he started the engine without turning the key all the way to the right. Need to
learn that trick. Getting out the manual and studying.
She's a black with a silver tridon, and black interior. Everything but the leather seats/power steering option.
For you that are waiting, be patient. The wait is worth. Thanks for listening.

Congrats, rjc! I, too, picked mine up this week from SC Lou. Also Black with Silver! Have driven over 200 mi in 2 days, can't seem to help myself. Sounds like you'll need to order another right soon - how could you let it drive away without you today?!

Being our house was destroyed by a tornado, the insurance rented us a house close to where my wife works. I can look out and see my Smart all day
today. She's beautiful.(Wife too!) BTW, the house is being rebuilt. In today's
economy, I'm getting a new house, and a new car!
I'll look up the address of Starlight Frozen on mapquest, and do indeed plan on being there. The Indiana Chapter is located too far north, so maybe the
Ky chapter adopt me? hehe. Look forward to it. Thanks, Rick

I got mine on the 12th. She's a blue and black Cabrio.Love her. Took my 6ft 4 in grandson for a ride and he was amazed he could fit in her. We put the top down Sat nite and went for a ride and my daughter said we looked like a couple of teenagers. I guess thats true because we sure had fun.

Picked my car up today! 11 miles on the clock when we rolled out of Smart Center San Francisco. I love it already. It's really strange driving something even smaller than my 1969 Mini!
