How long from Port to Dealership?
Well - I am strarting to get itchy!!!
My car arrived at the Baltimore port on 2/17 - was discharged on 2/18. So right now it has been 11 days. My dealer is about 400 miles away from the port - in Lynnfiled MA. What is usially the typical wait time until it gets there?
When I called my delearship - they had no clue and they also told me that the information I got from the Wallenius site wasnt right - they didnt even know who they were and what they were for. Well, I did type in their website the VIN# they have given me. So I know its here!

$64,000 question
...is what that is! Who knows? From what we've read, you would be led to believe there are still January deliveries at port! (....although I don't really think that's the case any longer - at last I hope so!) So, initially it seemed like cars were sitting around up to a month at port, but you'd think once they get their s**t together (just like any other manufacturer), they SHOULD be able to clear them out of port within a weeks time, and then no more then a week on the truck.

Wasnt the reason why they sat at the port for a while was because a lot of dealerships were not ready quite yet?

My car arrived in Baltimore on 1/10 and it arrived at the dealer on 1/31. Who knows what takes so long, VPC handles things after it is discharged from the ship till it's put on Percision Transport. Our dealer has gotten 1 car for February so far, but was allociated 7 for the month. So, 6 could appear today.
Amethyste..hang in there...I know you're excited.

Wallenius, a Ro/Ro car carrier, shows a transit time of 14 days between Bremerhaven and Baltimore. Given this is a weekly service and that each vessel discharges hundreds of cars every time, I believe it is reasonable to expect that processing all these cars takes a while. Typically, every car is being inspected after discharge to make sure there are no damages. We also know there was some kind of a mechanical problem that needed fixing, which adds to the time the cars spend in the terminal. There are only so many car carrier trucks to deliver Smarts to the dealership, so all in all, I would say that 2-3 weeks should be considered reasonable, between the time a car is discharged and delivered to the dealer.
