Checked the DDE this AM, and have moved up a month (10/08-12/08). Emailed my dealer in ATL and they said the DDE has been pretty accurate for deliveries to the ATL market. I guess that like a fine wine, the car will come when it is time.
I do not want the French builders to go faster than they can handle. In the late 70's, I was stationed in Germany with the military. Many folks would order MBZs and pick them up from the factory. A question folks learned to ask was "What day of the week was this car built?" If the car was built on Monday, you knew you were going to have quality issues, as Germany autoworkers "enjoy their weekends". I am sure that the French are no different.
