Where did you get the 29/36 PSI for tire pressure? The manual and door post indicate 32/35 PSI. Just wondering.

I got it from the door post on my brand new 2009 model smartcar. I haven't checked the manual. I've always been told that the door post is where to look.

The latest on my car is:

My "check engine" light came back on, on Friday. The dealer said bring back it in on Monday. That was today. I took it in and they flashed the ECU with the latest update. The dealer said that the "check engine" light may come back on. He said that he talked to smart and they said that their seems to be a problem with some of the 2009 smarts (400+/- world wide so far). In these smarts the instrument panel has a problem communicating with the ECU. So far they have no fix for this problem. The good news is that it is just a communication problem and I can still drive my car. So far the light has not come back on since this morning. Maybe I will get lucky and the flash they did this morning has fixed it.
