to tell you the truth I expected a lot of people to say that the sales would go down or stay at the ~300 level, so I wanted to go out in front and offer a little optimism ;-)
I forget, are these monthly sales figures dealer orders or sell-throughs to customers?

The Buckhead Atlanta store hasn't gotten any 2010 Smarts...no wonder the sales plumeted at the end of the normal 2009 model year. If I were buying a new car, I'd want a 2010 model year. And why buy a brand new 2009 when you can buy almost new on ebay for a fraction. Personally, if they offered the micro-hybrid then I would buy my 4th Smart. I rented a 2009 micro in Europe for 10 days. Instead they're offering old inventory without any changes. Not very Smart.
