About a months worth of new deliveries (only 40 cars?) Reservation dates are all over the place now, but most deliveries have been in the low 1200's, and december configurations. (except for one lucky bastard who config in late Jan and was a 1286! ;) )

356 days from reservation to delivery - I beat a year!

Honestly, I was disappointed in the service at Buffalo. But I love my car!

ETA: Man, I've been looking forward to making this post for a long time!

Had to sell Subaru Tribeca - Russian bought it to ship to Russia.
Picked up Blue/Silver fully loaded smart on 05/21/08

Delivery went smoothly, but poor Alex at smart had a rough day as he was only one on duty that day and he was buried the whole day.

What a trip this smart is, well worth the wait. It is an absolute blast to drive. It is fantastic. Everyone waiting, hold on your wait will be worth it - believe me. Ours was 390 days.....................................

Amen to that, like I've said the wait is well worth it, but time sure seems to drag. The best thing to do is order - forget - configure - forget - DELIVERY.

Picked up car on Thursday, May 22, 2008.
Car arrived at dealer on Monday, May 19,2008 from Jacksonville, Fl
Total time at dealer, including time to trade another vehichle(paid for extended warrenty) Two hours
Dealer was excellent and had most all of paper work done and was actually very fun and pleasant experience. I knew the cost's up front, no haggeling, no waiting around to see "closure manager", none of that. They even shopped around for me to get the lowest intrest on loan(had checked before going and could not beat them)
