Orphan adopted

Picked up my yellow/black passion this afternoon at smart center Portland. I reserved 4/5/08, #1556, requested placement on the orphan list and got really, really lucky! 18 days instead of 18 months!!! Originally wanted a Pure but it was like wanting cake and getting cake and ice cream, I couldn't pass it up.

P.S. Many thanks to the reservtionist who gave up this car.

Congrats!

Picked up my orphan this morning - 4.5 hour drive there, 6.5 hour drive back if you include all the "Show & Tell" at the restaurant, rest stop, store etc fielding questions.

I got a red with silver tridon & beige interior - I won't fess up the story on how it became an orphan, but it is an odd story nonetheless. Added the gauges once I got it here to the house. Tomorrow I will be adding the Sirius/Scangauge II mount. Used the Scangauge for the ride back, filled up the tank & manually calculated mileage - 39.47mpg - 298.7 miles and I didn't babyfoot it either. Gut feeling tells me once it's broke-in I should be at around 44mpg with normal driving and 50+ driving for extreme mpg's.

Funny, you got what I originally ordered except I went for a red interior - represents bumblebee guts.

Congratulations...I too had a long drive back from the smart center, 177 miles. Now have 219 mi abd 3/8 of a tank left. If you're half as happy as me...Enjoy!!!
