For those assigned to smart center Virginia Beach (VA), the Brand Manager reports that he has compiled enough history of reservations and deliveries to say that HIS people are getting their cars 11-1/2 to 13-1/2 months from the original date of the $99 reservation (not the C&C date). This only applies to scVAB.
I'm 25 JUN 07, so I am a week from entering scVAB's own local 60-day "DDE," which is also included early within my smartUSA 90-day window.
He says he has no idea what the opening date of the smartUSA DDE is based upon, nor what is happening to make it dither from time-to-time. We both suspect that it is the date that the car is scheduled to enter the production line at Hambach.
