Couldn't have been July. I'm June 25 with 1271. She's probably early June. I config'd January 28th (could have on Jan 25th) she config'd early Jan. Probably forgot she reserved in June! LUCKY MARKIE!

Yes, it is Smart USA extended warranty...

or it couldn't have been 1228!

I reserved mine in July and configured late January as well.

1228 is May 13th, so either the number isn't 1228 or you ordered on May 13th. :-)

FWIW, I ordered on 4/3/07 and configured in mid November. My 45-60 day email arrived on 2/27/08. I never received a "30-day" email, though I did get a couple of others here and there. My car is now through customs awaiting transport to Seattle, so I should have it within 7-10 days which will be right near the end of the 45-60 day window.

total confusion

I checked my reservation number and it is 1288.

I saw the car over the weekend, looks terrific with a yellow black outside and red inside. The dealer told me this was the first yellow/red one he has seen. I went through all the delivery details and it was a $65 charge as noted. They did not try to sell me any unnecessary aftermarket add on's. This is the first time this has happened - all previous car purchases entailed being offered a host of unnecessary items.

The tiltle will be at the dealer in a couple of days and I will pick up the car on Thursday or Friday. My wife and I were commenting that this car makes you SMILE when you see it. We can't wait to pick up the car and enjoy the experience. The staff at this dealership seems to be trying very hard to please, kind of like the experience that I had when I purchased a Lexus LS about one month after they originally came to the US. That was the last pleasant car purchase experience that I have had. Frankly I am more excited about this car than any car I have ever owned

Now, I have to focus on selling a 2001 Maxima with 35,000 miles and in perfect condition. Anyone interested in buying a very well maintained car?
