You Want WHAT for that Orphan?

Got a call today from my dealer, saying they had an Passion Coupe (yellow/black/black) orphan available. The dealer had added on the following:

1. Navigation Package.
2. Blue tooth
3. LoJac (that cracked me up)
4. Custom body mouldings.

The stock car came with heated seats and power steering. They were willing to let me have it for $25K...only $10K more than the list price of what I ordered without half the stuff that I ordered.

Where do I sign up? Maybe I need to buy two.

After making it on the Drudge Report this weekend, the Smart is looking pretty darn smart. Shut down the SmartUSA site with all the traffic being directed by the link provided. Waiting times for new orders are getting longer, EBAY prices increasing, lucky us that have our Smarts..

yeah, its really a shame the some dealers are really going over the top with these addons.....wasn't there one orphan available in Miami with Lambo doors?

This is a customary practice in Dealership world!! But Lamborghini doors?? I would have thought smart centers would be above this c*$p and be able to break the mold. This is the GM's responsibility. As responsible consumers we should see to it they eat these super loaded Orphans. After sitting on the lot for 6 months or more, it may become the GM's company car.

same thing with the orphans here in miami, you cant find one for less than 25000... its funny that all the orphans come with the same packages

Sorry...but it was. The dealer in Atlanta is big into custom MBz, so it is not surprising.
