Right on, Ali. I got a call while I was finishing up my paperwork at the Toyota dealer. hehehe I'm sure your fortwo will make some other smart fan very happy. How about a pic of that Fit, eh?
I'll call my salesman today to check on the status of this car though I fear they will throw wheels, chrome, and more on it and then ask me for 22k for it

No advance notice or anything... bam, it's here. DDE still says dates 4/16-7/25/08. So typically Smart.... you just have to laugh... and this just a mere 6 days after I got my Fit.
I have to say I am really thrilled with the Honda Fit. It was a good "fit" for me and, yes, I don't mind using the play on words. As I said I will always admire the Smarts but I will call them back and say I pass. If anyone is on the CH waiting list and interested in a fully loaded blue/black/black Passion and get a phone call then this is it. Let me know if you do as I think it's still a winning combination. I have no regrets
Picked up my Zebra from CHMB tonight ... very friendly, easy transaction, but I do have one warning for anyone buying from them.
One of the papers you sign includes a mandatory arbitration provision by which buyers waive their right to file a lawsuit against the dealership and/or smart for any problems with the car or sale. Instead, you agree to arbitration, meaning a hearing before someone who isn't a judge and from which you have no appeal rights. If you do not want to waive your rights, you can refuse to sign it, but they don't tell you that ... they just give the paper to you to sign with all the others. So, be aware of what you are signing ....

Interesting thanks for the heads up. Since I've actually been through litigation with a dealer before I'll have to keep a close eye on that.
Probably not a big deal. I don't know about PA but NJ has a pretty strict Lemon law. Although from what I've read, there are no major problems consistent with all fortwos. Sometimes a bug or two if any, which are quickly remedied with the dealership and that's across the nation. Our local owners have had no problems that I've heard about.
