As I was reading this thread, I got to thinking...
Am I better off (from the US customer's point of view) shipping the product out within 24 hours (usually) of getting the order from BC? Or am I better off shipping once a week (say every Friday) and driving 2 hours to the border and shipping from within the US?
I guess it depends on when you order

But if I ship from the US it probably only takes 1 to 4 days no matter where in the country you are. Shipping from here takes 4 days at the MINIMUM (Washington) and up to 2 weeks.
I don't mind driving if it means a weekly trip instead of daily. But then I foresee getting complaints from customers saying "I ordered X days ago and you still haven't shipped?!?!"
Just a thought.
ShoshTrvls (there has to be a story behind that name) - I'm glad you decided to give it a try! Otherwise, Smart Enuf has it bang on with the suggestion you take it to a car stereo/alarm shop instead of a mechanic. A mechanic can do it to, but probably not nearly as efficiently (exceptions exist obviously).
Cheers!
