Hi East Coasters,
My name is Regina and I'm one of the Welcome Moderator on ClubsmartCar.com which is another great smart car fan club. Nice to see all of you.

I'm getting my smartie from Ray Catena in Edison, NJ and I saw the other threads showcasing pixs of the dealership. Very Nice!

Unfortunately, I had to order the blue exterior because the red color was too tomatoey in color for my tastes. NO worries because I plan to purchase an extra set of panels and will have it painted ferarri red. Lots of mods planned and I can't wait to have our first NE Smart Meet Up.

I live in Parlin, NJ and commute to NYC for work. I'm a Navy brat and was raised all over this beautiful country. I've been on the east coast since 3/00 (started in Brooklyn then moved to NJ).

I already have my personalized smart plates and I hope the delivery of my smartie will be before month-end but I'm willing to wait until Valentine's Day before I get worried.

Hi Dan, SCOA has literally transformed itself (in a very positive way) since I joined back in 11/07 so I felt inspired to read up and post up. I had a great holiday season with tons of rest to be had. Too bad the holidays were in the middle of the week. Anyway, my 2 car garage is very anxious to rid itself of the Acura TL for the shiney new 451. I am sooooo ready for this car! Regina

Got a call from Edison, NJ dealership that the accessories and smartware booklets are in but they don't have computer access to sell the stuff. Hopefully by tomorrow. Boy oh boy...come to Momma! Regina

Hi Regina! I work in Edison, and want to buy a Smart when my lease is up. Do you know if there's a waiting list for one at the dealer in Edison?

Hi SmartyGirl, There is a huge smartUSA waiting list but contact Danny Wong to let him know you would like to be on the "Edison Orphan List". These are the cars that people backed out of at the last minute. Also put your name on the list at Englewood and Cherry Hills. Good luck, Regina

Haven't gotten mine. Last I heard, it was at the Baltimore dock as of 12/27/07. I haven't spoken with smart center Edison since Saturday to see if they received another shipment. I'm just trying to be patient. Who are you suppose to take delivery from (which NJ dealer). I know Jonthedull received his car last week. Thanks, Regina
