Also, just to clarify... the beeping sound made by the smart when you lock and unlock is due to the alarm system for $160.00.

Ok Danny - Expect me by 6:30 pm on 2/5. I'll have the babe in tow to take pixs and to keep me sane through the process. By the way, are you sure there aren't more dealer add ons in Finance? Also, I'm probably going to forego the Extended Warranty since it isn't a real smart branded option but a third party vendor. Thanks, Regina

Let me know about the Extended Warranty. I will have to write-up a new buyers order and re-submit for billing if you choose not to purchase the Extended Warranty. Even though its handled by a 3rd party, its endorsed by smart so I don't think smart would endorse a service if it wasn't worth it. Plus, a reminder that Roadside Assistance will be extended with the warranty as well. Also, the Extended Warranty, Wheel & Tire, and GAP are the only add-ons available.

I just talked to someone from smart and they said my car was in transit!! I can't believe it! It's almost here! Also talked to someone from the Edison dealership after and they were going to do some digging to see if they could get my vin. I'm even more excited than before!

Regina, can't wait so see some pics! (I think my car is the same as yours...blue/black cabrio, black leather interior)

I must tell you I was really impressed with the service and people at Edison. The receptionist even offered me something to drink. Heck when I bought my other toys I didn't get that type of service.

Danny is awesome. He tossed me a set of keys this Saturday and let me drive the demo Smart Car in the parking lot. I showed the car to my honey and her son and his buddy. She gave me a thumbs up and she enjoyed driving it as well. We had a blast. Everyone thought the car was very nice and while I was driving around Danny took the time to show the young-ins (16 year old) youtube videos of hotrodded Smart Cars. However, Danny lost them to the Ferraris and Porsches next door. ;)

Can't wait until my passion comes in, which should take a while since I am in the 1488 crew. But Danny did take my info and added me to the orphan list (Passion).

Holy cow, I just picked up my passion coupe, a loaded orphan, and man is it fun. Danny did take very good care of me and the car was perfect. Ray Catena Edison is a great place to buy a car.

Guys,

I sincerely apologize for not responding to some of your emails. I am the point of contact to the biggest smart center in the United States. Please do not take offense as I have not yet returned your emails. Simply put, I am trying my hardest to answer EVERYBODY, but I am only one person and being swamped and backed-up is an understatement.

I HAVE to give my priority to customers who walk in through the front door. It would go the same for ANY OF YOU walking in to the door. Emails are adequate, but phone calls are better. Even better than that is physically coming to my showroom so I can assist you in person.

Again, I apologize for not responding back to your emails. My customers are important to me, and my boss Ray Catena, would have a heart attack if he knew my customers were unhappy.
