Ellis Island 2010?

What does any one think of Ellis Island being a place for a meet and greet in 2010?

We could meet at Liberty State Park and visit Ellis Island from there?

Now I just have to think of a good month and day to have it in 2010. Summer months might be a good time but not too close to a holiday. Perhaps any weekend in August 2010?

I know a bunch of folks who fly Kites their regularly. Liberty Park is a Nice place with one heck of a View of the City

Why does the Statue of Liberty face New York? She does not want to turn her back on it.

I read that the statue is open to the public again. People can go up the inside now. It was closed since 09-11.

It's a nice idea, but the road into Liberty State Park is like a cobblestone / paver sort of thing, and it is absolutely terrible to drive on. Even travelling 5 mph, it rattled and shook my Boxster violently. I'd hate to subject All Ball to the same treatment. If we could avoid that road, it'd be great.
