Impromptu gathering in South Jersey

Looks like I can get there just about 6:00pm to meet and greet. And yes, SmartBob, I'm assuming it's the one at Fries Mill and Rt. 42, just past the Johnson Road turn and the Whitman Diner.

Well, 4 of us made it along with several VW enthusiasts.! That was a hoot...short and sweet but nice to put faces with the names. I'm bumbed however 'cause i can't get the pics off my cell phone. Hopefully you guys have a couple to post of the 3 cute fortwos next to my little Yari! BTW..I highly recommend DQ's Chili Cheese dog combo. LOL Let's do it again!

Bah, I posted it then I miss it all, glad you were all able to make it though.
I was on my way there when I got a text message from my wife saying the plane landed early.

I will probably be out there next month, not sure if it will be in the smart or the buggy yet.

Jane and I enjoyed the V-Dub Cruise-In. Had malts and shakes at the DQ, and dinner at the Diner a few doors up the road.
Didn't do as well at AC Race Course. Flying Bert let us down. We bet him across the board, but he faded to fourth.
Three smarts, a Yaris, a Herbie Tribute VW, a Thing, dune buggies, hot rodded Beetles; plus a MicroBus on the other side of the lot (Had he been banished?). We met a great bunch of folks. Looking forward to another M&G anytime. Mastoris Diner, anyone?
