New Jersey Spotted Thread

The farthest south I have gone is usually Trenton. With - seemingly - so few Smarts in the southern part of NJ, perhaps it would be wise to have a meet and greet in the central or northern part of NJ? I have other threads about possible locations.

Saw, I presume, the same car again on the same road at about 7:55 this AM. This time I flashed my high beams twice but was again ignored. Perhaps she hates the metallic gray color of my car.

or envious of the color? I saw a metallic gray Smart at Smart Center Edison and it looked really nice.

What do you think of their Ray Catena service center? I really like it. It puts other service centers to shame.

If I remember correctly, it is the 2nd largest MB service center in the country. One in California is larger. Also, Ray is the second largest MB dealer in the country, the same one in California is #1.

The center is nice, but you have missed something if you've only seen it recently. When it first opened it also had a virtual golf room. You could use their clubs and golf balls and swing it at a large screen. After the ball hit the screen the image would show the ball travel over a "golf course" and tell you how far you hit it. It was converted to a reading room two or so years back. Under utilized, I guess.

Still, the internet PCs, free food, and pool table are fun. The PCs even have access to a camera to the sevice bays. If your car is within the camera's view, you can watch the staff work on it.

The great thing is the my Benz and smart go to the exact same center.

I saw a red black Fortwo going the other way this afternoon. I was stopped at trafic/intersection and she drove by. I don't think she saw me. She was going toward Trenton and I was going away from Trenton on Old Trenton Road.

I saw two Fortwo's on April 2nd, 2010. The first one was a blue silver Smart going from Route 130 to 571. I saw the second coming out of the Shop Rite going onto Route 130 in East Windsor, NJ. It was white black Smart car. I was not in my Smart car. It was cool seeing more than one in one day.

I went back to Superfresh on Route 130 in East Windsor NJ since I forgot stamps when I was shopping. When I came out, there was a white black Fortwo in the parking lot. I talked to the guy in the passenger seat. He said he was amazed how few Fortwo's they have seen. It was the first time that I not only saw another Fortwo but spoke with the owner (if one does not count meet and greets).
