NJ Meet & Greet

OK my fellow smarties, when are we going to meet up? I know we have at least 30 NJ folks who have taken delivery since the launch so is anyone game? I'm in Middlesex County and I'm ready to get this party started! How about we schedule the first Meet & Greet at one of our three dealerships this first go around? Does Saturday April 5 or 12 or 19 sound good to anyone? Thanks, Regina

Future NJ Meet & Greet

NJ Motorsports Park's debut spectator event will be SVRA Vintage racecars August 8-10 in Millville NJ 08332. We could have a corral of NJ-NY-PA-DE-MD smarts. Maybe they would grant us a parade lap at lunchtime.
Check out www.njmotorsportspark.com for more info about the venue.
Calling all smarts!
April 5 or 12 sounds good to me, Regina, for a Meet & Greet. Any NJ area dealership interested in hosting?? ANT BEE is ready to partee! Tom

Just let me know the date and time and I'll be there with Squirtle. I bring my cameras and put together a video for later.

Another New Yorker here, I'd be happy to come down, and can do either the 5th or the 19th, but not the 12th. Has anyone contacted any of the NJ dealerships yet? I'd love to show off my Bumblebee!

Everyone is welcomed! How about Saturday, April 26 for the first NJ Meet & Greet! I would be happy to contact our three NJ dealerships to see who would like to sponser the first M&G and hopefully the sales reps will call their delivered owners to extend an invite. What say the crew?? Thanks, Regina

I also took a look at the NJMotorSportsPark and that event looks cool too. Say Tom, would you be interested in contacting the track folks to see how our club can get an official invite and figure out the logistics? This location is about 2 hours south from my home in Parlin but I'm definitely up to a nice drive (which is something I do every weekend when the weather is nice). Thanks for the heads up. Regina

I was thinking more along the lines of a resturant, I mean diner. We are after all talking about New Jersey, the state king of the diners.

A diner is fine for me too if everyone would prefer that instead. I just thought with it being our first M&G that we would want some help from the dealerships. However breakfast at a diner would be great too.

I highly recommend the Park Wood Diner in Maplewood, NJ on Springfield Avenue (07040). It's halfway between GSP (Exit 144) and Hwy 78 (Exit 50-B) in Essex County. Or how about the Paramount Diner in Parlin, NJ (08859) which is just south of Raritan Bay Bridge (near Exit 126 on GSP) in Middlesex County. They have a huge parking lot and are right off Route 35. It's also less than a mile from a nearby beach and waterfront area with a new parking lot.

This new suggestion is up to everyone but I'm game just as long as we meet up. What say everyone else? Dealership involvment or on our own at a Diner on the 26th? I vote breakfast to avoid weekend rush hour too. Thanks, Regina
