I didn't read all the posts in this thread so I don't know if this was mentioned already. Every Saturday May - Nov the Whiskey Cafe has a car show. Mostly classics, but new cars are welcome. We could all go and park in a group.

How about a meet and greet for the 4th of July? It is on Saturday. Perhaps one on Memorial Day? I am thinking the 4th could be at Mercer County Park. Perhaps the Memorial Day at another location.

Its time for doodah again. The 25th Annual Doodah Parade in Ocean City NJ is Saturday 4/17 at noon. Soupy Sales has passed on; Shelley Berman will be the honored guest. We can't be there (attending a local performance of "Guys & Dolls"). But you should come on down to the "Jersey Shore"!!!!!!!!

25th Annual Doodah Parade in Ocean City New Jersey.
They list one for the 5th but not the 17th but it is mentioned on the 17th in the press release.. If it is like my town, it might not be listed till it is over. I wish I had known about this sooner. It would be nice to go see it.

We mentioned the Doodah Parade but didn't attend.

Jane & I do have tix to two events this Summer at NJ Motorsports Park in Millville NJ. (See <www.njmp.com> for complete schedule). We'll definitely be at Grand-AM weekend 7/16-7/18 and ARCA RE/MAX Races 8/13-8/15. We have a pass for infield parking and that's where Ant Bee will be. So come on down. FYI, if enough people express interest, it is possible to get special "corral" parking for any NJMP event.

It is not easy to get a response for meet and greets in New Jersey. Perhaps every one is really busy or there isn't that many in NJ who own a Smart and have an interest in a meet and greet?

Garden State Smarts at Yahoo is for announcements for the tri-state area. There are only a few members.

Perhaps I could start one called Mid-Atlantic Smarts?

I should go through the members list and send an invitation to those in the tri-state area. Perhaps there would be more interest in it if they knew that they did not have to check this forum all the time for event happenings?

I'm in NJ and I'd love to have more gatherings. I'm just not a big fan of how the Yahoo! site is setup, and so I rarely visit it. Perhaps using a different forum venue like Meetup.com might be worth looking into. I'd be glad to help out if you need anything.
