Orphans @ smart center Edison

Dear smarties,

Being that we are the largest showroom in the United States, we have orphans available here at smart center Edison. We have about 7 of them, including a cabriolet, 2 pure's, and a bunch of coupes. Most of these have been installed with Lo-Jack. Please contact Danny M. Wong (732-549-6601 x 605) at smart center Edison if you would like to inquire about any of them. They are at a first come, first serve basis.

Wow, thats good news for people who live close to them!!! I wish the same message came up for the Minneapolis location.

What exactly does "Lo-Jack" do? and how much is it extra?

don't hold me to it, but I think mine was around $1200? (I forget). it's a stolen vehicle recovery system that all major police departments will use to recover your vehicle if its stolen. mine came with an "early warning" thingy, which requires you to have a small FOB w/you when you start the car (it's kept on the keychain, very small and convenient).

I think it's worth it. saves $$$ on insurance, and gives you some peace of mind; if some jerk takes smartie, you'll have it back much faster!

I can't seeing paying $1200 for LoJack. The smart is the most obvious, conspicuos, easy to notice car out there. Cops pull you over just to see what you are! No car jockey is gonna risk a theft this early in the game for the measly profit they could get for black market parts. IMHO

I'm back... Not that far - about an hour away but the problem is noone who would do a round trip 2 hour drive if something DID work out. Too bad as Edison seems to have a good rep.
