450 parts list

Howdy ALL

I expect this list to be VERY dynamic, my goal with this list is to list US “in Stock” suppliers of 450 parts

Front Brakes: “I have the Dp21287” (part of an E-Mail I got) www.perfectbrakes.com In Pa.

K&N Air Filter http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...px?Prod=E-9257 can be bought from any of the US auto chain stores (usually takes a day).

1 of the 2 fan belts www.grainger.com , the 4PK790 seems to match this belt, "Serpentine”, Outside Length 31.1 In, Industry Number 311K4" part# 1MGH6 $13.35.

As the tips and locations come in of parts available in the US, I’ll rearrange this list so it makes sense, PM me with what you find

I bought an oil filter conversion device MoCAL FC8741 for 20mm screw-on oil filters to replace smartie oil filters. Haven't received it yet. Bought on the phone from Mocal distributor in Florida. BAT, Inc, Sarasota, FL www.batinc.net/mocal.htm Their phone is 941-355-0005. He said it uses Honda oil filters or equivalent. Hope that helps.

Does anyone know where i can get the headlight covers that were originally on the 2005 smart car. The peanut shaped lenses were removed I guess, before coming to USA..

If you want the original peanut shaped headlights then you will need to buy the entire headlamp plus source the wiring loom. G&K replaced the entire unit and in doing had to put in different connections. Probably not worth it unless you really want them. A replacement headlamp from G&K is only $128. That's actually cheaper than sourcing the original one from Canada or Europe. And I am told the light output on the G&K lamps is much better.
