Bad mouth Ford, but take notice they did not accept our tax money like GM & Chrysler, all they wanted was a stand by line of credit.

So if they go broke, it will be with their own money, not like GM or Chrysler who will loose my money. I read somewhere that GM was considering buying Chrysler, where whould that money come from?

THe GM Buying Chrysler conversation died about 1 or 2 months before the bailout.

Stock swap and cheap money.. oh yeah.. then GM stock tanked and cheap money went away.. Good thing that idea never went thru.. Then again, Cerebus, chryslers Private Equity Owners also own 51% of GMAC.

Yeah, I guess you could say Ford was balsy enough to mortgage EVERYTHING THEY OWN for $23 billion dollars instead of come crying to the tax payers who didn't want their product in the first place ;)

IMO the only good Ford product is the one on the back of a flatbed heading to a scrapyard.
