2001 Acura CL starting problem??

Hi, Its a modified Acura CL "01. I have this problem that keeps worrying me. Mechanic guy told me that timing belt is the major problem then I buy spare of Acura CL belts, timing belt was done last week and customer is now complaining that the car takes to long for it to start. car is hard to start when you let it sit for about 10 min or longer it cranks good and takes about 5-7 seconds to start up but if you start it every time after that time it starts right up. Ideas anyone?I checked the fuel, fuel pressure, timing is not off..

Since the car is relatively old and the problem is intermittent, perhaps it might have something to do with the wiring? As long as you don't touch the wiring loom, things were ok. But once you start moving things around (like when replacing the timing belt), some of the wires may have been broken due to the wires becoming brittle over the years from heat.

I heard this was a problem with certain Mercedes models.
