Toyota's answer to the Smart Car just maybe their new concept compact called the iQ. The iQ is one of the smallest concept cars on the floor at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. Its styling is indicative of the Scion.
I still prefer the Smart and trust that it will be available some time in the not to distant future as a PHEV. The Aygo appears to be heading into the same uglyness as the Prius. JMHO
Brazilian Officials Attend San Francisco Auto Show for ZAP's Introduction
of "Trybrid" Car Design.
In November, 2005 Zap announced officials from the Rio de Janeiro government plan to attend the San Francisco International Auto Show, November 19-27, for the introduction of a new car design that uses "trybrid" technology -- gasoline, electricity and alcohol.
These were pictures tanken before the show in San Francisco.
Here are a few pictures of alternative and concept cars from the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. It appears smaller is starting to be better.
The bottom right picture is the interior of the new Brabus.
Also the bottom picture is the BRABUS ULTIMATE 112. It is being built in a limited-edition series of just 112 cars, each sporting a consecutively numbered placard in the interior.
