Sultan of Michigan??? Is that the job title? It would seem to pay rather well.

Darn it! My connection is slower than snail snot tonight. After about 15 minutes I've made it halfway through the video! ARRGGHH!!!

My wife got to hear me scream like a teenage girl seeing Leonardo Decaprio walking down the street back in the 90's. Yesterday going home I saw a green Lamborghini drive by, I remarked - "Hey, look at that! A green Lamborghini!". I didn't scream though. The an orange one followed behind........and then a yellow one passed.....and then a Ferrari went by. Still no screaming. I decided I'd catch them at the next light where I knew they'd be taking a left and would be waiting in line. As I neared them I saw the Ferrari in the back, then a Corvette (Z06), then the Lambos and then there was a car I had missed............A MCLAREN F1!!!! This fool was driving this car in pouring down rain!!!! Arrggh! I suppose if you have money to burn to even attempt to drive that on the street around the idiots here in the first place you might as well add another bullet to your game of Russian Roulette. Anyhow, when I saw that car - that is when I started screaming like a little girl.

About the only other car that has thrilled me like that by seeing one is a Tucker. I consider it an honor to be able to see either one in the flesh. Yes, I've driven plenty of Ferraris, Lambos and other exotics along with LOTS of very rare American muscle too.

I wish I had a better connection! One more drawback of living in the boonies!!

The collection is owned by a guy named Ken Lingenfelter, who owns Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, a performance tuning company near Decatur, Indiana (of all places). Home | Lingenfelter - Performance Engineering

The "Sultan of Michigan" moniker is a play on the Sultan of Brunei, who has a *monsterous* supercar/hypercar collection.

No; that was his father, John Lingenfelter. Ken's alive and kicking and buying up a mint example of every hypercar and musclecar he can find.

If I had a lot of money, I would have a collection of mini and micro cars. I like the small cars. I would not be into big or muscle cars.
