A-B transportation econobox challange

I thought the Chevrolet Chevette would have been listed. It was low cost car that was basic transportation. One would assume that it would have a pretty rating in MPG. There is a Chevette site. There is a Chevetts owners club in the UK. There is an internattional Chevettes owners club too.
"TIME MACHINES: Chevette was U.S. answer to early '70s energy crisis" Perhaps the Cheverolet/Geo Metro was a modern version of the Chevette?

Had been decided that the Rabbit is out of the running, essentially bringing us down to 2 choices: accent or fortwo ... about the same price.. one is a bit more practical, the other is a bit more fun..... decisions are difficult
