Cars sold in Mexico but not in the US...yet

In our recent trip to Mexico, I saw several cars not sold in the US yet, I'll be posting picteres.

They still make and sell the Volkswagen Microbus. It is very popular there with small businesses; IIRC. Due to safety rules and emission regulations, it is no longer imported into the USA.


I like the Obvio 828 and 012. They are not exported to the USA.

Yeah, that's a Hyundai Atos. Almost all of those cars with the exception of the Ford EcoSport and the Jetta are quite common in Europe.

Yeah, those are all common in Europe as well. I for one would like to see some of them here. My other fave from Europe was the new generation of Nissan Micra.

The mhd isn't really a hybrid. It simply shuts the engine off and restarts after a preset period. The second link is regarding the crossblade which hasn't been manufactured for a while and was a limited edition in any case.
Mexico doesn't currently get the mhd or EV but they do get the cdi...
