Is there room for another Italian in my garage? Maybe, I'll trade in my Smartcar for the 500.

....to be sold through Alfa Romeo dealers. The introductory Alfa is going to list for $250,000.....think you can afford the Abarth?

Garage
From www.autobloggreen.com

This was on the web last summer:

Quote:
An American version of the 135hp Abarth 500 might be a reality, according to anonymous sources quoted by Automotive News Europe (subs req'd). The car would be sold in small numbers by Alfa Romeo dealers, to compete with the Mini Cooper. Converting the Abarth 500's price to USD makes it about $20,200, ANE says. If it came to the U.S., would you buy one? You've got at least three years to decide.

Won't the Fiat 500 come before the Abarth? Like the fortwo before the Brabus?

I heard today that the Abarth will be sold through Ferrari dealers. Even better for me, my Ferrari dealer is much closer than my Smart dealer.

Randy I know you're dying to get your smart. But the 500 is cool too

I've already told the SO that when Fiat arrives we'll be getting one, but I'm looking forward to the Smart for my immediate future. Now, if the Brabus Smart ever comes here, the future of the Abarth Fiat in my garage will be questionable.
