Don't make me pull out that Top Gear review

"Is it green?"

"Yes..."

Hmmm...too bad I'm young and I don't have a smart nor $$$, I'd buy a Fiesta. And the same if they ever bring the REAL Transit over here.

I signed up for Fiesta news previously and have received some of the mailers. I do like the look and am tempted to make a reservation, just in case I have more garage space than I know what to do with.

And, yes, they have some GREAT color choices. smart could learn a thing or two from the Fiesta colors...

I'm not interested in a EU spec car in the US. EU, JDM etc all have different choices for colors than compared to US. Top Gear don't mean squat for US. Except maybe to see what happens when you don't brush your teeth.

Oh I didn't mean that as a reference! It was supposed to be a joke!

In the review it was asked if the car was green (eco friendly) and he replied by showing the car and saying "yes".

I know EU cars are different from US, just look at the EU 451 vs. the US 451.

Crazy seat recline tab, and non-adjustable wheel...

So what you're saying is all this talk about "green" isn't about car color choices, but the color of the Top Gear staff's TEETH???

Well, here's the first glitch. To get the proposed 40mpg highway requires the SFE package:

Quote:
•The class-exclusive* available Powershift six-speed automatic transmission provides torque to the wheels 100 percent of the time, for an extra-connected feel. It’s equipped with a leak-free dry clutch technology and a neutral idle mode, which helps eliminate drag and contributes to fuel efficiency. It’s also maintenance-free – with fill-for-life transmission fluid that requires no dipstick – and designed to last up to 150,000 miles.
•Underbody shields
•Blockers on lower grille
•15" painted-aluminum wheels
•Speed control
•Spare wheel and wheel cap
This is apparently the only way to get cruise control and it's a $750+ option to increase estimated highway mpg from 38 to 40.
